Right now in New York City, you can’t buy a gun unless you get a permit. When you do buy a gun you have to register that gun.
If you wanted to carry that gun for protection NYC requires a permit to carry.
Carry permits are nearly impossible to get if you’re not a celebrity, can prove you have an active threat against your life, or you can prove that you carry a lot of cash or jewelry as part of your business.
Simply wanting to protect your life is NOT ENOUGH.
The New York Times in 2011 found that about 4,000 people had permits to carry concealed handguns citywide.
The vast majority tended to be retired cops, active security guards, and business owners who handle significant amounts of cash, along with a few well-to-do famous names.
Only 4,000!? There were over 8 million people in New York City in 2011.
If you wanted to have an AR-15 to defend your home since you can’t carry a handgun to defend yourself in public, you wouldn’t be able to because AR-15’s are banned in NYC.
So you can only use handguns, shotguns, and bolt action rifles to defend your home, but wait, you can’t have more than 10 rounds in the gun.
There are so many gun control laws in not only New York City but New York in general and they’re so strict that if you don’t live there, you can’t even go into a gun store in New York and hold or touch a gun.
So with all of these extreme gun control laws, someone wants to explain to me how recently New York city Had 10 Shootings in 24 hours.
Here’s the crazy thing, even with all the laws you want to take a guess as to what their response to this violence is?
More Gun Control
Criminals do care about gun control because the harder it is for law-abiding people to have guns, the easier it is for them to commit crimes.
The Gun Control Lobby sees New York City as the model for gun control.
They want the entire country to be as restrictive as New York.
Oh, they’ll get up on camera and say that they support the second amendment they just want common-sense gun control measures to fool people into thinking that the gun community is the one being unreasonable, while behind the scenes they’re praising New York for their unconstitutional gun laws.
If you don’t agree with allowing people to carry a gun for self-protection, You do not, I repeat, you do not support the second amendment.
People wake up.
There is no such thing as reasonable gun measures because the gun control lobby and anti-gun politicians believe every gun law is reasonable, even if it’s unconstitutional.
Their solution will always be more gun laws.
Make no mistake, the goal of the gun control lobby and the anti-gun politicians they support is to make the entire country like New York City.
That is why the largest and most prominent gun control group in the country is Every-town formerly known as Mom’s demand action is spending millions on state and local elections to turn red states and counties blue.
