Undeterred by the apparent danger, the man armed himself with a shotgun and went to investigate. The situation quickly escalated from there.
The intended victim confronted the suspect, who then reportedly and somewhat foolishly approached the armed man. Fearing for his life, the man fired a warning shot into the ground, quickly ending the threat.
