Gun Control Radical Arrested for Allegedly Vandalizing 9/11 Memorial

Terrorism, by definition, is a shocking act that repulses reasonable people and attempts to weaponize their reactions to get some point or another across.

Some nonviolent protests accomplish the same feat.

On Monday evening, gun control radical Jonathan Andrew Tijerina, 31, allegedly used spray paint to get attention at the 9/11 Memorial Reflecting Pool in New York City. He imprinted his “message” across the names of many who lost their lives at that same location.

Activist uses shock value to rail against the Second Amendment

The suspect didn’t bother trying to hide his vile act. “My name is John Tijerina, and I’ve just spray-painted ‘just stop killing kids’ on the 9/11 Memorial.”

A spokesperson for the historic site told CBS New York that workers scrubbed the monument after its callous desecration.

“The 9/11 Memorial is a sacred place of reflection at the heart of a rebuilt World Trade Center that honors the 2,983 victims killed in the September 11, 2001, and February 26, 1993, terrorist attacks,” the spokesperson said. “Yesterday’s brief incident was swiftly addressed by security staff and law enforcement, and the impacted area was immediately restored to its commemorative state.”

Charges levied on suspect do not reflect the seriousness of his act

He is charged with criminal mischief and making graffiti.

While technically that’s what he’s accused of, the act goes much further than artwork on a train or some other harmless prank. Instead, it strikes at the souls of untold millions of Americans and good people around the world, and it will never win sympathy for his cause.

Remorseless fanatics murdered thousands of defenseless citizens in the most public way imaginable. To disturb the solemnity of the memorial is a loathsome act that only highlights the radical nature of too many Second Amendment opponents.

There’s no better way to show your patriotism than with merch that speaks before you do.

Defend America is more than a name, it’s a stand for freedom, resilience, and the values this country was built on. Every tee, hat, and mug is a symbol of unapologetic pride. Wear it loud, wear it proud, and let the world know: freedom isn’t negotiable.
