There was a wee little bit of controversy over one of my NRA News Commentator videos where I stated I unload my gun every night when I get home. You would of thought I said I like to have sex with midgets on the weekends people were in such awe. Let me break it down for you guys.
Like most people, I have dedicated guns. My carry gun, bedside gun, barricade in the closet gun, and of course the obligatory Zombie Apocalypse gun (I can hear the zombie haters now).
Here’s the thing. I dry fire my carry gun quite often, so obviously it makes since for me to unload my carry gun every night considering I plan on doing some dry fire practice.
With that being said, there is always a gun in reach ready to go when I am at home.
Now I am curious, what do you guys do in terms of your carry gun? Do you unload it at the end of the day or do you keep it hot and ready?
