Using their supernatural vocabulary to try to scare people, Senate Democrats led by Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) are trying to crack down on YouTube gunsmithing videos.
In a recent letter to YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, the Democratic Senators state that, “It cannot be the case that YouTube is entirely reactive, removing these kinds of videos only when news outlets call public attention to violative [sic] content, when gun violence prevention advocates send letters listing specific YouTube videos that violate its Community Guidelines, or when Congressional staff reach out to raise concerns about such videos.”
Senator Blumenthal and his colleagues are once again blinded by their own ignorance. In order to properly clean and maintain any firearm, you need to know how to assemble and disassemble the weapon properly.
It doesn’t matter if it is a kit or a gun bought from a dealer. If you don’t know how to maintain your tool, you will find out pretty soon that the tool will fail to function properly when it is needed the most.
The disconnect between liberals and guns is growing every day. They refuse to learn about them because they are scary tools of destruction.
They don’t want them to exist (except for the ones being used by their private security), so they don’t bother to learn how helpful they really are especially to minorities.
Senate Democrats don’t care about gun assembly videos. They really don’t. Intellectually they know it is no different than some mechanic placing how to videos about how to fix your car on YouTube.
If they were really concerned about people knowing how to make weapons, the series Forged In Fire would be banned too.
As with most laws/mandates/executive orders that violate the Second Amendment, they are not about the gun. It is about you. They do not trust you to act in a responsible manner, so they demand that you cannot have something that they, the enlightened, can.
They need to control you in every way. They have to control the Second Amendment so they can come after all the others.
