Before I read the press release, I wrote this gun off as useless. To me, it was just a bodyguard designed to look like an M&P Shield. Not to mention, I have a hidden apathy towards any gun chambered in 380 Auto.
However, after actually taking the time to read the press release, I concluded that this gun was designed specifically for my ex-girlfriend. More specifically, every woman who could care less about guns but understands the importance of having one, again, my ex-girlfriend.
So while I call her to tell her, I finally found a gun she might actually like, you all can check out the press release. Also, let me know what you all think, do you all think there is a market for a gun like the M&P 380 Shield EZ or am I just being a sexist, misogynistic, pig for assuming this is a perfect gun for women who don’t have 3gun aspirations but want a gun for protection?

Built for personal and home protection, the new M&P380 Shield EZ pistol is the latest addition to the M&P M2.0™ family and features an 8+1 round capacity and a 3.675” barrel. The M&P380 Shield EZ pistol ships with two 8 round magazines that include a load assist button for quick, easy loading, as well as a picatinny-style equipment rail to accommodate accessories. The pistol also features an optimal M&P pistol 18-degree grip angle for a natural point of aim, white-dot front and adjustable white-dot rear sights, and a light, crisp trigger with an MSRP of $399.
